My Trusty Camo Jacket

My Trusty Camo Jacket | Style in a Small TownI remember when the idea of camo made me shudder in horror. It actually wasn’t that long ago. I vowed to never buy camo anything, let alone post it on my blog. But as you can see from this post, this and this, I’ve changed my tune. Hey, I’m a woman and it’s our prerogative to change our minds, amiright!?

I purchased this camo jacket early last spring and even I’m surprised at how much I’ve worn it. Much like leopard print, camo has almost become a neutral. When I was outfit planning for this shoot, I hadn’t planned on wearing this jacket or any jacket, really, but the temps had dropped that day and I just didn’t feel like freezing that day, (can you blame me?!) so I threw on what is now coined as “my trusty camo jacket.”

If you weren’t a fan of camo before, have I changed your mind? I will say, however, that I draw the line at pink camo. In my opinion, no one should wear pink camo, it just isn’t right. Thoughts?

I apologize for being MIA all last week. I ended up having to go out of town all week for a conference in Orlando for my day job. We left our hotel every morning at around 7am (6am my time since I’m on Central time zone!) and returning around 5 or 6pm at night. It was my first conference and it was a smorgasbord (I verified the spelling!) of emotions. It was very educational, fun, overwhelming, exciting and I’m sure I could come up with a lot more words if I had the time or energy. Which means it was also exhausting. I can’t even tell you how much I’ve slept since I got back on Friday. I don’t know why I was so tired?

Anyways, it’s a new week and I’m excited for some fun new content coming your way! Have a great Monday!

As always, thanks for reading!

xoxo, Hillary
