Well hello there! I’m sure you’ve been wondering where I’ve been? Well I’m happy to tell you that I am still alive, I’ve just been on an extended vacation or so to say! I have been following blogs for about three years now and always thought, “Hey wouldn’t it be cool if I started my own”? After a couple of unsuccessful first tries I thought I was finally on my way after my launch last April. Boy was I wrong! I had no idea what I had gotten myself into and became very overwhelmed by all of the work and time that I needed to put into it. If you’re an avid blog follower like me I’m sure you’ve read other bloggers talk about comparing and what a struggle that can be. There are so many blogs of all kinds out there and it’s easy to start comparing your blog to someone else’s, and someone else’s and so on and such starts a vicious cycle of endless comparing. In the interest of full disclosure here, I’m telling you, the struggle is real and it can be very intimidating and debilitating to the creative juices. But there is a light at the end of this lovely little tunnel! If at first you don’t succeed, try, try, try AND try again! So that’s what I did. Over the past couple of months I attended several workshops on blogging and read any little bit of information that I could get my hands on and after feeling a little more comfortable with the process, knowing what I needed to do and feeling my creativity and inspiration coming back, Voila! here I am! Over the next month you can expect to hear from me more often and more consistently. I have a couple of fun things planned, such as a weekly series and a few giveaways. Who doesn’t love giveaways?! So stay tuned, it’s going to be fun!

As always, thanks for reading!
