Hi Friends! Happy Friday and welcome to the December edition of Styled Two Ways. If you’re new to this blog, last month was the first edition of a little project we like to call Styled Two Ways. My blogging friend Kathrine of Kathrine Eldridge and I started a monthly collaboration where we each style a piece or a look in two different ways. Today, we have come together to show you two ways to style yourself for whatever holiday event you may have coming up! Silver and gold, silver and gold…well we did it again, without knowing, we both styled a sequin top for our holiday looks. What can we say, we like sequins! Whether you’re a gold girl or a silver girl, sequins during the holidays are a must. What other time of year do you get to get all dolled up for no reason, to celebrate the season of course! Stop on over to Kathrine’s beautiful blog to see more of her looks and for her outfit details. I chose to style my top with this classic cherry red Express high waist midi skirt. I have it in black too and I love how versatile it is. This skirt is both office appropriate and with it’s touch of vintage glam it makes for a great party piece too! The over the knee boots keep my legs warm and also add to the vintage-y feel of the look. What are you wearing to your holiday parties?
As always, thanks for reading!
