Hi friends! It’s finally Friday and I’m happy to report that I made it through my first full week back to work! (Yay!) I’m also happy because today’s post is the first 2015 edition of Styled Two Ways! If you’ve been following me for awhile, you know that usually the first Friday of every month I do a collaboration blog post with my blogger friend Kathrine of Kathrine Eldridge on how to style a piece or a look in two different ways. This month we’ve decided to show you two ways to wear faux leather or faux leather accents. Kathrine is showing you how to wear faux leather accents with her cute grey top, black pants and adorable shoes. For more pictures and outfit details on Kathrine’s look, check out her awesome blog! For my look I paired this striped top from Ann Taylor with my faux leather skirt from Lulu’s. I love the versatility of this top with the faux leather sleeves. It can be dressed up and worn to work with a crisp pair of skinny leg trousers and a blazer or it can be dressed down and made casual with a pair of distressed denim, booties and a cute cardigan. This faux leather skirt that I picked up last year from Lulu’s also has a lot of versatility. I love the idea of pairing it with an oversized sweater and pumps when the weather gets warmer and bare legs don’t look so strange! Do you have any faux leather pieces in your closet? How do you style them?
Have a great weekend and I’ll see you back here on Monday!
As always, thanks for reading!
