I’ve been really trying to up my dress game lately, after getting a little bit more comfortable wearing them. Plus they are great to wear in the dead heat of the summer. I’ve also really been trying to buy things that I can wear more than one way.

I thought it would be fun to show you how to style a slip dress (on sale for $32!) now and then later, when it gets a little cooler.

One of the best ways to get a lot of wear out of a piece is to pair it with a vest, jacket or scarf. During the summer, you can still wear a scarf, as long as it’s lightweight. Plus, it’ll come in handy when you’re at a restaurant and the A/C is cranked way up!

I also picked up these a few days ago for less than $30. They are a lower heel, but still, give the illusion of long legs (even though I don’t need it!) because they are a nude. But, the great thing about them is they won’t kill your feet like most high-heeled sandals would.

When the weather starts to get colder, I always reach for a comfy cardigan like this one from the sale, a pair of booties and a cozy scarf to keep me warm. At last check, this cardigan was sold out, but keep checking back because people will now start returning things so items should come back in stock. Also note, to size down a size in this one. It runs a little large. Or you could try this one.

BP front button slipdress now: $31.90, after sale: $49 // BP rib stitch cardigan now: $31.90, after sale: $49 // Booties now: $99.90, after sale: $149.95 (SO soft + comfortable, comes in 3 colors, highly recommend!) // Tote bag (under $27) // Sunnies ($10)   // Watch // Emma Jane initial + pendant necklace c/o

I’m not typically a dress girl, but when it’s paired with a comfy cardigan, I’m all over that. Plus, you can’t go wrong with a cardigan. They are a great layering piece, over camis, flannels, t-shirts and blouses. Or under a vest or a jacket. I really hope that they re-stock this one, because it’s so soft and only $32. I also bought it in the burgundy color.

As always, thanks for reading!
