Notice something different about me? I want to talk about my newest accessory…my glasses! I have never worn glasses in any of my pictures on the blog and to be quite honest I’m not quite sure why. They are a pretty big part of me. Well the me, now. Sure I had the days with the big round glasses and braces, hot I know, when all I wanted was contacts and I would beg my mom to get them for me so I didn’t have to wear my glasses anymore. But then as I got older, mostly in college I started wearing my glasses more. Maybe I subconsciously thought that they would make me look smarter, thus making me smarter! Right!?
I have always gotten my glasses through my eye doctor or at a brick and mortar store. Since I mostly buy everything online, it never occurred to me that you could buy glasses online! The process is actually really easy and kind of fun, in my opinion! Firmoo.com, a global online optical store has hundreds of glasses and sunglasses for men and women. They will even use your prescription! They have this fun little tool called the Virtual Look Viewer where you can either upload or take a picture of yourself using a webcam and you can see how you would look wearing any of the pairs of glasses they offer. I can’t believe how easy the process was and I really love them! It will be nice to have a couple of different pairs now, who knows, you may see me wearing glasses more often now that I’ve got these! 🙂
Coat: Old Navy (sold out, similar, almost identical) // Sweater: The Limited (super old, similar, similar and on sale!, love this striped one) // Turtleneck: Old Navy // Jeans: Old Navy (on sale!) // Heels: INC for Macy’s (old, super similar) // Bag: Old Navy (comes in three different colors aand it’s reversible!) // Glasses: Firmoo (gifted)
Right now, Firmoo.com is offering a 50% off code on all their frames sitewide for new customers! Trust me, you won’t want to miss out on this opportunity! It’s always a good idea to have a spare pair of glasses around, if you can’t find yours! They also do glasses for people with astigmatism.
As always, thanks for reading!
