A 4th of July inspired look coming at ya today! Any big 4th plans this weekend? I actually have today off so last night my sister and I went to visit some cousins and went to a fun concert and small town festival! One of my cousins lives in Thailand now and was back visiting so I was really excited to spend some time with him. I’m so fortunate to have cousins that I get along with so well and am so close with! It’s built-in friends, what could be better!? 😉
This Old Navy dress is so incredibly comfortable and breezy with the linen-like fabric, which makes it perfect for hot summer days. Throw a jean jacket over it for when the sun goes down and you’ve got the ideal dress for any summer event you may have. The fact that it’s striped (my favorite print) and red and white is just an added bonus! I decided to pair this dress with wedges for a little bit more of a dressed up look, but I also wore last weekend with my Converse sneakers for a super casual look.
Funny story about these wedges, I bought them last year from Nordstrom but wasn’t sure what size I needed so I bought them in two different sizes since Nordstrom has free shipping and free returns. I tried them both on and decided to keep the bigger pair and send the smaller pair back. Went to bed that night and when I woke up the next morning, Howie had chewed through the box and destroyed the wedge of the bigger pair! So I ended up having to pay for both and keep the smaller pair. He also, may or may not have eaten my new Toms wedges last year that I never got to wear too. Still haven’t gotten over that one… Apparently the little guy has a thing for wedges (who could blame him!?). #thestruggleisreal
I hope you all have a wonderful, safe and fun-filled 4th of July weekend with your families!
As always, thanks for reading!
