Plaid + Faux Leather

It was at most 20 deg and super windy (hence the flyaway hairs that I have!) the day that we took these pictures, so needless to say, some of them I needed to wear my coat in to warm up temporarily. Not even the coffee could warm me up, but the fun espresso design was a good try!

I had been looking for a red plaid shirt for some time and somehow (don’t ask how) I failed to notice the shoulder and elbow patches on it when I ordered it. So when it arrived on my doorstep I got a very big surprise! Luckily I love it! I love the little detailing on it. I wore this particular outfit to work and don’t think that my co-workers would miss a chance to call me a lumberjack or ask me to go cut them some wood! Lol, it’s all in good fun, I actually really love the people I work with, I’m pretty lucky that way!

Coat: Kenneth Cole (old, similar, here, here) // Plaid Shirt: Sosie // Skirt: Lulu’s (old, similar) // Necklace: Baublebar // Tights: Express (old, similar) // Boots: JCP (old, similar, here) // Clutch: TJMaxx (old, similar) // Earrings: ily couture (sold out, exact) // Watch: Michael Kors // Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

I have already found so many ways to wear this shirt. I actually wore it on Super Bowl Sunday with a faux fur vest, distressed skinnies and my favorite camel booties. It was a very casual, but chic outfit for the girl who didn’t care about who was playing this year, only who could pass the chips and dip!?

Ok, enough about me. How are you guys? What’s going on in your world this week? Getting ready for Valentine’s Day? Big plans?

Oh, real quick: I am now a MacBook user, and a new one at that. So any tips that you might have, I highly appreciate it in advance! I’m loving it so far, but this keyboard-shortcut loving girl is having to re-learn some things. Today’s post was created on it, so I’m pretty proud of myself for that! 🙂 #littlewins Ok, that’s it for now, whew that was a long one!

As always, thanks for reading!

xoxo, Hillary
