I got this palm print slip dress to wear for night one of #TBSCon, but ended up wearing something else, completely different and never getting a chance to wear it. But I did get to shoot it and then wore it out our last night in the city for drinks with some other bloggers who stuck around too!
Speaking of the conference, I mentioned before that I am going to do a recap of it and a what-to-wear to a conference post soon. I just have so much content to share with you guys, that I feel like there’s not enough time now, since I’m only posting two times a week. Anyways, if there’s anything specific that you want me to talk about or any questions you want me to answer, leave them in the comments below or feel free to email me, if you prefer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
dress c/o (also love this, this and this in the same print!) // similar denim jacket // crossbody bag // heels (so comfortable!) // earrings (similar, love these + these) // necklace (wearing the choker necklace in this set) // watch // sunnies
Ok, back to this cute palm print number! The quintessential print of summer is the palm print, remember this post? It just makes you feel like you’re on vacation or if you’re lucky enough to be on vacation, make you definitely not want to leave! There are so many variations of this print, such as the banana leaf, which I’ve been told that’s actually what this dress is. But we’re just gonna go ahead and call it palm print to make things easy. If you like this print, it also comes in a maxi, a strapless romper and this cute little number!
I’ve really been into slip dresses, lately. How have I never embraced this style before? If you’re new around here, first of all, welcome! And second you probably don’t know this about me, but I really don’t like wearing tight-fitting clothes. After discovering shapewear, I’ve warmed up to the idea, but I still prefer to wear clothes that aren’t clingy. So a beautiful slip dress is where it’s at. You can also wear this style of dress well into the fall by either throwing a denim jacket or an oversized cardigan on and booties. Like I did here.
So what do you think of the slip dress style? How would you wear it?
As always, thanks for reading!
