Sweatshirt: Romwe c/o (size up 2 sizes, I’m wearing a large)// Chambray shirt: Lands End (old, similar) // Skirt: Lulu’s (old, similar) // Booties: Nine West (old, similar) // Crossbody: Forever 21 (sold out, almost identical) // Necklace: birthday gift last year (similar) // Ring: Baublebar // Watch: Daniel Wellington // Sunnies: Ray-Ban

When I think of a sweatshirt, I think of a lazy day at home, on the couch, snuggling with my puppy, Howie. Most likely in my yoga pants and a big oversize sweatshirt. But not with this one, this Romwe geometric print sweatshirt, when paired with a more tailored pencil skirt or trouser, can be worn to the office. Or at least my office. I love how the colors in it just pop, especially with the chambray button-down under it. The faux leather skirt and pointy booties give it just a little bit of an edge.

How was your weekend? Mine was awesome after I was finally able to kick my cold. I don’t get plain old head colds very often, but when I do, I’m out for the count. Sleep, sleep and more sleep is what I need along with Mucinex (my new miracle!), seriously try it the next time you get a cold! Sunday was my birthday and I celebrated it adult-style with a University of Illinois (my alma mater) tailgate on Saturday with some long time friends and family, a fun ladies lunch with four of my favorite ladies on Sunday and dinner with my family on Sunday night. Oh and to top it all off, U of I beat Nebraska for the first time in 91 years!!! I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday present! ILL…

As always, thanks for reading!

xoxo, Hillary
