How To Wear Your Summer Dresses in the FallDress: Cabana Life c/o // Jacket: Loft (sold out, same style, but different wash, save option here and here) // Bag: Zara (only $20!)// Booties: TOMS // Necklace: Baublebar (sold out, identical but a little shorter) last seen here

With summer starting to wind down, it has me thinking about how I can get the most out of my summer clothes. This Cabana Life shift dress is super cute to wear in the summer and the coolest part is that it has 50+ UV Protection built into the fabric, so it blocks 98% of all UVA + UVB rays. It’s the perfect piece to take on any end of season vacations you might have since it travels well and doesn’t wrinkle.

Then, when I want to wear it in the fall, all I have to do is throw on a denim jacket, a statement necklace and my favorite pair of peep-toe booties and I’m all set. A denim jacket is one of the big staple pieces in my closet and one that I turn to quite often for transitioning into different seasons, like here, here and here. Other great transitioning options are a field or utility jacket, in a neutral color; a good quality faux leather jacket or a bomber jacket.

FYI…there’s another special Thursday post coming at you TOMORROW with a HUGE giveaway! I’m teaming up with some awesome bloggers for a pretty cool giveaway and another fall transition look for you! Then Friday it’s all about the sales! Labor Day weekend always has some of the best sales, so be sure to come back to get all the details on where to shop and what I’m shopping for!

How do you wear your summer dresses in the fall?

As always, thanks for reading!
