If you saw Friday’s post, you may recognize this kimono. This is actually the first time I’ve ever worn it and I bought it back in March when I went into Target to buy a baby shower card and walked out with a new spring wardrobe. #ithappens
I’m not big on fringe but the whimsical feather pattern and bursts of color made up for my hesitation. Plus a kimono can be a surprisingly versatile piece in your closet. I chose to pair mine with my favorite white distressed jeans (last seen here) and this pop of fuschia top from Forever 21. But I would dress it up with a pair of black leather shorts and booties for a night out or black leather pants when it gets a little chillier. For an even more dressed down look pair it with jean short cut-offs and a tank. It can even be worn the pool or the beach as a swimsuit cover up!
I hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was pretty relaxing, just trying to get caught up from being gone the last couple of weekends. I love to travel but coming back home and getting back into a routine always feels good too!
As always, thanks for reading!
