Lovin’ Leopard

I apologize for being MIA a bit last week. If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen that last week was a little bit of a rough one for me. My furbaby, Howie, was pretty sick and we couldn’t figure out what was wrong with him. But after many, many tests, we finally got him to feeling better and he’s definitely on the mend. He’s back to being just as crazy and energized as ever and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Now, I’m not a mom to a human, yet, but I’m sure you moms and furbaby moms can attest that when your little one doesn’t feel well, it affects you too. And as if that wasn’t enough to deal with…faux-fur-leopard-print-coat-purple-sweater-tunic

Wednesday night when I was coming home from work I was in a car accident. Without going into too much detail, I’ll admit that it was really scary. I was actually taken to the ER in an ambulance and my car is possibly totaled. I am doing better now than I was, but I’m still in some pain with a case of whiplash. Hopefully I don’t have to get a new car, but I’m waiting to find out.

So, on that note…today is the grand debut of my faux fur leopard print coat! #badsegue I bought this coat at the end of last season and never got a chance to wear it until now. Even though I know I’m going to get a lot of wear out of it, this is the perfect example of a trendy piece that I wouldn’t want to spend a lot of money on. So finding it during an end of the season sale was the best time to purchase it!

And can we please just talk about these fleece lined leggings? They are, by far, my favorite pair of leggings and I’ll tell you why. A.) They are fleece lined b.) they are soft on the inside and the outside and c.) oh yeah, they are only $18! I could probably sleep in these if I really wanted to. #iwanttobutiwont 😉

Faux fur coat: Missguided (old, option here, here, here, here) // Tunic: Loft (best tunic sweater and suuper soft!) // Leggings: Francesca’s (my favorite fleece lined leggings!) // Necklace: Avon (old, similar) // Booties: BCBG (old, similar, here, last seen here) // Bag: Michael Kors (sold out, similar) // Sunnies: Ray-Ban

So what are your thoughts on the faux fur leopard print coat? Are there trends that you’d like to try, but don’t want to pay a lot of money for? Tell me about them in the comments below!

As always, thank you for reading!

xoxo, Hillary
