The wind is getting chillier and the daylight fades earlier, that means that fall is officially here, so I’m rounding up my essentials for staying warm and chic today. I’ve had several people ask for my advice on what to wear this fall so hopefully this little styleboard helps and provides you with some inspiration.
You guys – this widget is SO cool!! All you have to do is hover your mouse over the item and a little box will show up. Click this box to be taken to the retailer’s site! Hint: Use the social media buttons floating to the left of the widget to share it.
I’ll just touch on a few key pieces and if you have any questions, I’d be more than happy to answer them or provide you with more details on any of these items!
Brown boots are a staple in any wardrobe. I’m a gold girl, so I’m a sucker for the gold details on these.
A good chambray shirt or two are one of the most basic pieces that you have. You will wear this baby all year round – I promise!
I’m dying over this oxblood faux leather jacket! Cute little leather jackets like these are great layering pieces for any type of weather.
If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen that these jeans are back in stock and on sale! I can’t stress to you guys enough how amazing these jeans are. They are so soft I could probably sleep in them! lol Take note though, I’m 5’9 and they are even just a tad too long on me, so you might have to get them hemmed if you’re on the shorter side. But at $53 they would be the same as a pair of Gap jeans. Aand I HIGHLY recommend them!
I posted this striped top in my birthday wish list earlier this month and am still obsessed with the elbow pads on it. A girl can never have too many stripes in her closet!
I included a few fun accessories to jazz up some of your outfits, like this gorgeous hat, these fun boot cuffs and this adorable chiffon bow that you can pretty much put on anything (read: that red flannel above). See here for a look that I wore last year.
So, there you go. My fab fall fashion essentials for the year. What are your favorite pieces? Did I miss anything that you would consider an essential? Please feel free to share with the class! Next week I’ll be doing a round up of my favorite fall looks from last year, so be sure to come back!
As always, thanks for reading!
