The Last of Fall + A Cozy Giveaway

As the trees are losing the last of their fall leaves and the wind gets a little chillier and we start putting on more and more layers, we sadly say goodbye to the fall and all of its beautiful colors and hello to warm socks, fires in the fireplace, hot chocolate and yes snow. It’s hard to believe that winter is almost here. But before we welcome old man winter I have a couple more fall looks to share with you.

Cape:Β Earth’s Treasures (only $25, call 815-777-9005 to order yourself one, I’ve linked several options below) // Jeans: American Eagle (my all-time favorite distressed jeans) // Boots: Michael Kors (similar,Β cheaper option) // Chambray: Halogen (similar) // Belt: American Eagle // Necklace: Aristo-Chic Boutique (identical) // Earrings: ily Couture (similar) // Handbag: Michael Kors (similar) // Watch: Michael Kors // Sunnies: Ray-BanΒ (25% off right now!)

Capes were all the craze this season and if you live in the Midwest you probably can’t get away with wearing just a cape for too much longer. But if you’re lucky to live in a warmer climate then this is the post for you. I picked up this beautiful cape in a cute little boutique a couple of months ago when I was in Galena with some of my family.

Next week I’m sharing a couple of Thanksgiving outfit ideas but this one would work for that too. Especially if you eat too much, the cape will hide everything! You’re welcome! πŸ˜‰
