Looking back through past posts I noticed that I don’t wear a lot of denim or jeans on the blog, which is funny because I wear them a lot in my “real life.” Most of the outfits that I post on here I do actually wear, though. Since my blog pictures are taken over my lunch hour, it’s usually what I wore that day to work with a few tweaks and adjustments, of course.
I purchased this denim midi skirt back in August and I had no idea how much wear I would get out of it, last seen here. This is actually the look that I had in my head when I purchased it and I could not wait until it got a little colder so I could wear it. Lately though, (I’m totally not complaining by the way), we have been having days in the 70’s!! Which, in the Midwest, for this time of year is completely unheard of. But in true Midwest fashion it will get cold, probably as you’re reading this, and I will continue to find new ways to wear this skirt, which will most likely include a warm pair of tights!
Is there a piece in your closet that you can’t stop wearing? One that you continue to find new ways to wear it? Tell me about it in the comments!
Before I go, the holidays are coming fast. I can’t believe that it’s the second week in November already! So for you early shoppers, I’m going to start posting my gift guides to give you a little bit of help in that area and possibly some new ideas for the special people in your lives! So stay tuned. Also, please let me know if there is anything specific you’d like me to talk about.
Also, as promised, there is a cozy giveaway on the blog at the end of this week, so be sure to come back!
As always, thank you for reading!
