Boho Top + Cargo Vest

Hi friends! Yay it’s Monday…said not many people, ever. But I’m choosing to think positively about today and keep the Monday-itis at bay. Especially since I’ve been off my blogging game and life in general lately. After being sick most of last week and just having an “off” week personally, it feels good to get back into a routine and get back to this space.

So how was your weekend? Did you do anything special? Or just lay around and veg? No judgements here, mine was definitely the latter! But after some rest and relaxation Iโ€™m ready to get after it! :)boho top + olive green cargo vest

On to the task at hand…I don’t know you’ve heard or not but the 70’s are back! ๐Ÿ™‚ Flare jeans, fringe, and bohemian (boho) pieces are all trends that you’re going to be seeing a lot of this season. I’m not really a bohemian kind of girl. However, when I spotted this boho top at Target, something told me I had to have it. The colors are definitely me and I can’t wait to pair it with a cute pair of denim cutoffs this Summer.

These jeans are definitely an oldie, but a goodie. Back in my personal shopper days in Chicago, I was fortunate enough to have a (read: MAJOR) discount, and was able to scoop these babies up. Otherwise, they would not have been in my budget. I pride myself on the bargains that I find when purchasing clothes and that’s one thing that I love to share with you on this blog, how you can achieve a high-end look on a minimal budget.

In order to achieve this trend, you don’t have to go full-on boho. You can wear any of the pieces separately and modernize the look a bit with other complimentary pieces, like I did with this cargo vest and blush heels.

So, what do you think of the 70’s trend? Are you on-board or letting that ship sail?

As always, thanks for reading!

xoxo, Hillary
