Hey guys and happy Friday! It’s been over a week since I last posted and I don’t like to be gone for too long without letting you know where I’ve been.
If you’ve been following along lately, you’ll remember that I had developed a blood clot in my left calf. About two weeks ago they put me on blood thinners to try to get the clot to go down. Without going into too much detail, the blood thinners really took a toll on my body and last Thursday morning I ended up in the ER. I had to be admitted so that they could keep an eye on me and see how I did after being taken off the thinners.
Late Thursday night/Friday morning I ended up needing two blood transfusions and surgery. I was released on Saturday, but my doctors pretty much put me on bedrest this week and I’ve been working from home some. I have been pretty tired and rundown so I took this opportunity to rest and try to heal. And to think all of this is because a stress fracture in my heel…:-/
I ordered this blush trench at the end of spring and never got a chance to wear it. I thought pairing them with my favorite distressed shorts would make for a nice fall transition look. It’s still pretty warm here during the day so this tank (another favorite!) is the perfect piece to wear with it!
Hope you all have a great weekend!
As always, thanks for reading!
