Bar Cart Ideas for the Holidays by Illinois style Style in a Small Town

Hey guys! Popping into your inbox two times today! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving with your families and a nice long holiday weekend. I’m not one to decorate before Thanksgiving, so the weekend after Thanksgiving is when I get out all the decorations. Whenever I need decorations, every year I always go check out what Gordmans has. They have the best decorations at the best prices. My house is seriously filled with cute little decorations that I’ve picked up from there. A little bit about Gordmans if you haven’t heard of them before: “Gordmans’ mission is to thrill every guest with fun finds and exciting deals at every turn. There’s no need to hunt for bargains at Gordmans – treasures are always in store with exceptional style at competitive prices, every day.”

I took this old bar cart of my Gram’s and decorated it with all things needed for a hot chocolate bar. All of these different pieces came from Gordmans including this adorable moose, hot chocolate snowman, and decorative trees. I’m obsessed with this “Blessed” sign and can’t wait to hang Christmas cards from it once they start rolling in.

One of my favorite holiday treats are chocolate covered pretzels, so I had to grab a jar of those, which would also make a great teacher gift or stocking stuffer. I also love these cute little snowflake coffee mugs, perfect for hot chocolate or tea. I talked here about some fun hostess gift ideas and how to make them a little more special by adding a cookie mix or hot chocolate mix to it. You could do the same with these mugs, wrap it up in a little cellophane, tie a bow around it and presto, you’ve got a really cute and easy gift!
