Can you believe that we’re only one week away from Labor Day, the official end of summer! (insert tear emoji face) You’re probably tired of hearing me go on and on about how much I love summer, but I can’t help myself. As much as I like summer though, I do like a little fall transition look with OTK boots and a skirt or dress and no tights! It’s very unexpected and a little edgy, which I love!
I picked up these boots last week from Nordstrom via Octer. This new-to-me shopping retail site is multi-channel, allowing you to compare colors, sizes and prices of similar products across various retailers, all from one site, mobile device or tablet. Since starting out as an app only, in 2014, Octer has grown into a mobile shopping platform where you can do all of your comparing and shopping in one place.
I searched for “over the knee boots women” and it loaded a page full of over the knee boots for women that I could narrow down the search for my price range and I could even choose which specific retailer I wanted to look at. It’s super.simple. and really fun, because it allows you the opportunity to find retailers you may have never known about!
I have a pair of black and taupe heeled over the knee boots, last seen here and here, so I know these flat ones are going to get a lot of wear this fall, too. I plan on pairing them with more skirts, dresses and jeans, so be on the lookout for how I style them next! This corduroy skirt, is also going to be in constant rotation this fall. The olive green color goes so well with so many other colors that the possibilities are endless. It will also look super cute with a pair of tights and booties when it starts to get really cold out. #notforalongtimeihope
What are your fall transition pieces?
As always, thank you for reading!
P.S. In case you missed it last week, I’m co-hosting the Spotlight Weekly Link-Up with Larissa of Living in Color and Jacqueline of Stylin’ in St. Louis! Be sure to head over and add your link to the party! Closes Wednesday though, so go there now!
