Blush Bell Sleeve Sweater

Hey hey! This post is going to be short and sweet because I was up late last night watching the Grammy’s. More on that later…. This blush bell sleeve sweater has been on major repeat since it arrived in the mail. I love pairing lighter colors with a darker color because it really makes it pop. Because this sweater is a little short on me (note: I have a long torso) I wore a longer length button-down under it so that it wouldn’t be a crop top on me! Ha

The other thing I love about this sweater is the fun bell sleeves. Although it’s hard to tell in these pictures. When worn alone or with a tunic tank or cami under it, you’d definitely be able to tell the detail. Fun sleeves are going to be a huge trend for spring, so be on the lookout for flare, bell and ruffle sleeved top, blouses and sweaters.

Did you guys see the Grammy’s last night? I don’t usually watch it live because I hate having to wait through commercials, but for whatever reason, I watched it live and oh my gosh, was it SOO good! Adele, that lady is one.class.act! From admitting her whoops while she was singing a tribute song for George Michael and asking if she could start over to her incredible speeches for the 4 awards she won last night and the kind words she said to Beyonce. Which brings me to Beyonce’s performance, um…was anyone bothered by the whole thing? I was wondering after the first 5 minutes if she was ever going to sing? I did not dig it at all…thoughts?

    • You’re so sweet – thank you! Living in the Midwest, you definitely have to learn how to layer to stay warm! Ha xx

  • Such a great sweater! I love that you paired it with a button down. And I totally missed the Grammy’s last night and have to watch it on dvr tonight now lol!

    • Yes, you need to! It was SO good! Thanks, Laura! xx

  • Ok yes to all of this!! That blush sweater is perfect with the button down… I have it in black and it’s super soft! I was wondering if anyone else was thinking the same thing, like Beyoncé was a little too much! I feel like all she cares about is singing about her children or being a mom! Let’s get back to the Single Ladies Beyoncé please! I was so impressed Keith Adele! She killed it!

    • OMG – so much yes to this!! I feel like she’s so self-centered. I mean really, having all those ladies basically bowing down to her!? It was too much for me! Plus, she didn’t even sing for the first 5 minutes! I was over it! Ha I didn’t know this came in black, I might need to get it too! xx

  • Love this cool casual chic look! The muted colors with the black jeans is perfect. I watched most of the Grammys. I did think Beyonce’s performance was a little out there. Loved Bruno Mars and his Prince tribute. Have a great week Hillary!
